Whispers of the Unheard is Ishita Chakraborty's first monograph. The work of this artist, who is based in Switzerland, is rooted in postcolonial discourse and deals intensively with topics such as ecology, migration, and sociocultural inequality. The 112-page publication comprehensively documents and illuminates her artistic practice, providing insights into her work over the past few years.

The publication was designed by Megi Zumstein, who used the Juneau font family for the typographic implementation. This font combines geometric construction with grotesque dynamics, is based on circular shapes, and is inspired by old metal grotesques. The typography deliberately takes a back seat, creating space for the photographically documented works. Juneau shows its strengths particularly in smaller font sizes, offering good legibility thanks to its economical proportions and wide-open stroke ends. For headings, the typeface is used with increased letter-spacing, which makes its characteristic forms stand out more clearly. In this way, Juneau helps give the high-quality publication its contemporary and elegant look. The restrained typographic design harmonizes with the overall production and underlines the aesthetic appeal of the work without competing with the artistic works.
