Poster Series for Salzburger Jahre
The poster series Salzburger Jahre by Studio Other Types promotes plays directed by theater director Alek Niemiro at the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the University of Mozarteum Salzburg.
The poster series was designed by the Hamburg-based Studio Other Types. The abstract image layer (a cropped section of a screenshot of the Untersberg in the south-west Salzburg) is complemented by a clear image that corresponds to a respective play. The posters are recognisable as a series through recurring typographic elements set in Sombra Poster, the extravagant and extra Black of TypeMates’s Sombra family, designed by Paul Eslage.
