Her central quest is: How to take up room with language and typography. With TypeMates Laura is creating visuals for new font releases.

Laura engages in research with different (life) realities, explores them in the social context and highlights them from a queer-feminist perspective. Her central quest is: How can we take up room with language and typography? The use of typography and its connection to photography and moving images are essential to her practice. So is collaborative work. Laura’s creative practice works with book design, aiming to translate the printed medium into social spaces.
Laura is a co-founder of kiosk magazine and graduates with a bachelor’s degree from Münster School of Design in spring 2023. In 2022 she joined TypeMates for graphics and visual presence.
